I remember being excited when I got picked as part of Haily's school supplies, I was so excited, and so was she.
She wasn't excited for me, she was excited to start high school. To her all I was was a blank sheet of paper. Practically worthless.
But she was excited for school, which wasn't really something you saw that often. But it WAS her first year of high school, as many call it, the place where your life starts. And I was going to be there for her.
